Stan’s just announced the DART, an all-new tubeless plug system designed to repair large punctures and slices by reacting with sealant…
The DART is Stan’s solution to repair tire punctures faster and better than existing plug tools. While other pluggers, such as the Dynaplug or typical “bacon strips,” are designed to wedge sticky rubber strips into a puncture, the DART’s plugs feature a hackle of specially designed material that’s engineered to create a chemical reaction with Stan’s sealant to quickly form a permanent airtight bond.
Each DART features a barbed plastic tip that anchors into the tire, and according to Stan’s, will not pull out when riding. The fan of flexible material then conforms to the puncture and ultimately bonds with sealant. There’s no trimming needed as it simply wears down over time.
The Stan’s DART comes in a compact tool that includes a built-in valve core remover and two pre-loaded DARTs for sealing multiple and larger punctures. Each kit is $25. Learn more over at StansNotubes.com
