Suntour just announced the new GVX Gravel Suspension Fork, serving up 40-60mm of tunable cushion for your favourite gravel bike. Find out what we know so far here…

Drop bar enthusiasts looking to stretch their bike’s capabilities further will be glad to learn of another short-travel suspension fork designed specifically for gravel bikes. Providing a more affordable alternative to short-travel forks from Fox, Lauf, and MRP, the new SR Suntour GVX gravel suspension fork is based around an adjustable air-sprung cartridge with rebound control and a lockout switch. It will be available in three different travel lengths; 40, 50, and 60mm, features a removable fender, and has full fender mounts. The Suntour GVX fork has tire clearance for up to 700c x 45mm or 650b x 50mm tires, and uses 32mm black-anodized 7000 series alloy stanchions. Could the lower price tag mean we start seeing more bike manufacturers offering a suspension gravel build alongside their fully rigid options?
