For anyone who’s ever felt the need to match their gravel shoes to their gravel bike, Suplest and Open Cycles just teamed up on a limited-edition collaboration shoe and matching Open U.P. frameset, with only a handful available. Check out the details here…

This isn’t the first time Open Cycles and Suplest, both Swiss companies, have partnered on a product. Their first collaboration was a limited-edition road shoe, and now they’ve teamed up on a gravel shoe to match a small batch of limited edition Open U.P. frames. The gravel shoes feature a carbon composite outsole, heat-welded microfiber upper, and BOA closure. The sole doesn’t look overly aggressive but appears like it would offer some decent grip and can accept toe spikes. The shoes are part of Suplest’s Crosscountry series, so they are designed to handle more than just gravel roads and doubletrack.

The limited-edition Suplest × Open U.P. frameset features a classy matte grey paint job with fire red on the inside of the fork legs. There were only 20 produced, and some of those already went to ambassadors, so they are suggesting anyone interested should act quickly. The U.P. sits between their more road-oriented MIN.D. and big-tire WI.DE. frames, offering clearance for 650b x 2.1″ or 700 x 40mm tires, a single dropped chainstay, and full carbon construction.
