Tailfin is undoubtedly one of the prolific bikepacking bag and rack makers in the industry. From their innovative component designs to the quality and versatility of their bags, few can match the volume and level of engineering they’ve established. If there’s one critique that the Bristol-based brand has face, however, it’s the relatively bland, black fabric aesthetic. Now, the Tailfin Colours Collection is here to rectify that shortcoming.
Today, Tailfin is releasing two new colorway options across a large portion of their bag lineup. More than just a limited edition release, both the Candy Mountain and Kentucky Bluegrass colorways are here to stay. The former is a warm, light sand-and-stone tone set with a natural, organic vibe. The latter is a richer, more traditional pairing of khaki and olive.
The colors are currently available in the 0.8, 1.1, and 2.2L top tube bags, the 2.3, 3.0, and 3.8L frame bags, and the 16L panniers and CargoPack Rack top bag. All color variants are priced the same as the existing black range, which is nice to hear.
As always, in addition to the release of the bags, Tailfin has shared a fun, unique, and interesting launch video featuring an almost entirely nude Justinas Levikas to show off the Colours Collection. Check out the risqué video below:
