Take a Trip Bags is based in Bend, Oregon and makes the Wald basket-specific To Go Box. To complement this product, the company just launched My Little Bungee, a neat little accessory that’s designed specifically for Wald baskets and looks handy for anyone running a basket for commuting or bikepacking. Each bungee has an adjustable bungee cord with two hooks that easily snap onto the rails of the basket and can be tightened down by pulling on the tail of the cord. They can be used individually or combined to create an adjustable cargo net for more security.
My Little Bungees are made from 1/8″ shock cord, work with any basket with ~2.5mm rails, and come in three sizes: Small (22″ – fits the Wald 137), Medium (26″ – fits the Wald 139), and Large (30″ – best for big loads or weaving through the basket rails). Take a Trip explicitly says the bungees are not load-rated and not recommended for heavy loads, which could damage the cord over time.
