This past year was both demanding and unforgettable, and our small team at BIKEPACKING.com is deeply grateful for all of you, our readers. Your engagement and spirited conversations made it meaningful and kept our wheels turning throughout the year. A special thanks to our Bikepacking Collective members for keeping this independent platform rolling. We literally couldn’t do it without your support.

As the year winds down, we hope you’ll join our sixth annual Good Night local overnighter challenge, running from today, December 19th, to the 31st. Use it as a chance to reset and dream up big rides and plans for 2026. If you haven’t already, sign up to share your campout for a chance to win! Good Night 2025

Good Night 2025 is a local overnighter challenge between December 19th and the 31st that invites everyone to sleep under the stars, have a good night outdoors, and blissfully send off the year.
