The new Tout Terrain Chiyoda III Select 7.1 comes equipped with a Cycles Manivelle basket, a Pinion gearbox, and 50mm tires. It’s equally suited for urban commutes and gravel adventures alike. Take a closer look here…
Tout Terrain describes the newly released Chiyoda III Select 7.1 as an “urban utility vehicle” for riders seeking a true do-it-all daily ride. The bike is part of Tout Terrain’s Urban range, but it also looks to have potential for light touring and off-pavement riding.
It features a steel frame, a Tout Terrain Expedition II Fork, and a Pinion C1.9 gearbox with a Gates Carbon Drive belt. The frame clears 700 x 50mm tires and comes equipped with a Cycles Manivelle N°55 Edition basket that adds a dash of color to the bike’s light grey glossy powder-coated finish.
Like most of Tout Terrain’s bikes, the Chiyoda III Select 7.1 is covered in mounting points for cargo and accessories, including three-pack mounts on the fork legs, nine mounts inside the main triangle, top tube bosses, rack mounts, and downtube mounts.
The build features a Pinion twist-grip shifter, Magura MT Sport hydraulic disc brakes, and a Shutter Precision PL-7 dynamo hub. It rolls on Tout Terrain ADVTR AL24 wheels (DT Swiss G540 are pictured) with Continental Terra Adventure 700 x 50mm tires.
The Chiyoda III is available in four sizes, with a 70.5-71.5° headtube angle (depending on the size), 65mm bottom bracket drop, 455mm chainstays, and a wheelbase that ranges from 1,053mm to 1,093mm. Dig into the complete geometry chart below.
