After several weeks of traveling around Asia, lead designer Clint and co-owner Igor of Velo Orange amassed a treasure trove of fascinating images from inside their partner factories in Japan, Taiwan, and Korea, where they discussed ongoing and upcoming projects and connected with their friends, distributors, and manufacturers, many of whom they’ve worked with for going on two decades.

In the first of several Factory Visit blog posts, Igor reports from Taiwan, where their trusted family-owned factories produce frames and components. They timed their visit with the production of Velo Orange’s forthcoming aluminum Chessie frames plus bars, hubs, forks, fenders, and more. Igor’s shots beautifully capture the skilled work that goes into the manufacturing process and a little of their time pedaling around on their Neutrino travel bikes. Stay tuned for more updates to come!
