Viral Bikes just announced its new feature-laden BOOST MTB carbon fork, made specifically for the Viral Dérive, the brand’s bikepacking-specific model. Find details here…

The Viral BOOST MTB carbon fork is the first product released by the brand outside of their two titanium frame kits. Made with their bikepacking-specific Dérive model in mind, the fork features a load of options that one might need for touring, although is can be used on any other mountain bike frame that works with a 1.5” tapered steerer and an axle to crown (AC) length of around 490mm.

Features on Viral’s BOOST MTB carbon fork include internal cable routing, an adjustable rake (44mm or 52mm), fender mounts, rack mounts (three positions on the side of each leg), and internal wire routing for dynamo hubs. It even has a light mount in the crown, which is often a feature ignored on similar forks.
