In this installment of Weekend Snapshot, we pedal alongside community members on trips around France’s Vercors Massif, the White Rim Trail in Utah, and the bikepacking playground that is Scotland. See this week’s vignettes and take a moment to share a photo from one of your recent rides here…

Our 118th Weekend Snapshot once again takes on a bikepacking world tour in three parts, this time stopping off along the stunning Grande Traversée du Vercors route in France, Utah’s otherworldly White Rim Trail, and the ever-intriguing Scottish backcountry. Take a peek at all three below, then keep scrolling to find some related posts from the archive and a quick form you can use to share a shot of your own. No ride is too big or too small!

Massif du Vercors, France

Weekend Snapshot

By Thomas Guerin

A couple of shots from my overnighter on the Grande Traversée du Vercors. I do this route every spring, but this time I took my A7III to get a few shots. I wasn’t very lucky with the light, but I still find it very beautiful. I live in the Vercors, but I really am amazed by how you can be totally lost in this preserved and wild nature reserve in just a few kilometers.

White Rim Trail, Utah

Weekend Snapshot

By Lucas Winzenburg

Taking a little break atop Murphy Hogback while waiting for the rest of our crew to regroup on the stunning White Rim Trail in Utah’s Canyonlands National Park. I’ve been wanting to ride this rugged 100-mile route for years, and it surpassed my expectations in every way.
