Today’s Weekend Snapshot whisks us away to Finland, Australia’s Namadgi National Park, and the White Rim Trail in Utah. Start your week with these three inspiring reader photos from folks around the community and find a link to submit shots from your own bikepacking trips here…
We’re rolling into another Weekend Snapshot with three more photos from backyard rides and campouts from our global community of bikepackers. For today’s installment, we check in with two friends on their first trip together in the Australian Capital Territory, a solo rider pedaling out for a quick overnighter just beyond Helsinki, and a group of six women on a three-day bikepacking trip through Canyonlands National Park. Find their photos below, then scroll down to the bottom of this post to submit yours!

Sometimes, when nature can’t decide between winter or spring, it gives you both. Here’s a scene from my recent winter overnighter with a spring vibe.
White Rim Trail, Moab Utah
By Taf McMurry (@mtbcowgirl)
A weekend of 6 ladies, 102 miles, 3 days, 2 nights, and 60 liters of water. Days in the desert are days to cherish. The vast landscape surrounded us as we bumped along on our fully packed bikes on the four-wheel-drive track that follows the White Rim of the canyon. Self-supported, we felt the weight of the water, gear, and food in our packs, but we also felt the weight of the world lift from our shoulders as were are immersed in nature and revitalized by each others’ spirit!
Namadgi National Park, ACT, Australia
By Mattie Gould (@mattiejgould)
My friend Allison had never ridden in the ACT before, so what better place to take this Queenslander than on a hut tour in beautiful Namadgi National Park? The Boboyan Divide route is the perfect sub-24-hour track that has a bit of everything. River crossings, hike-a-bikes, and seven historic huts along the way. This was our first ride together, and it was such a memorable time in a special place around Ngunnawal Country.
Send Us Your Weekend Snapshot
We’ll be selecting three photos per week to feature in Weekend Snapshot. Send yours along for consideration, and if it’s selected, we’ll be in touch! Note: we prefer 3:2 ratio landscape oriented photos.
Please keep the conversation civil, constructive, and inclusive, or your comment will be removed.
