Mexico

Weekend Snapshot

By Paola Berber and Cooper Ray

My partner and I just turned 33, and to celebrate this new stage in our lives, we took on a 215-kilometer ultra-ride from downtown Mexico City to La Joya, climbing to 4,000 meters above sea level just to stand face-to-face with the beautiful volcanoes Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl.

Tarragona, Spain

Weekend Snapshot

Despite the ominous weather predictions, my friend Fran and I set out to escape Barcelona’s bustling city life and enjoy an overnighter in the mountains of the Priorat region of Cataluña. The weekend delivered a diversity of weather and landscapes and was packed with the right mix of downtime, delicious riding, and adventure. It’s amazing how only two days of bikepacking can change your headspace and connect you with the outdoors.

A few buddies and I made the trip down to southern New Mexico for an adventure riding the Monumental Loop route over four days! Nothing like ripping some desert singletrack.
