Rugen Island, Germany

Weekend Snapshot

By Ucek Incognito

In the last week of April, the crew of Hoffman Riders from Poland went around the island of Rugen, Germany. The place has a history of last Slavic Pagans from Arkona Cap that were repelling the crusades of Danes and Germans in 11th century. We had plenty of coffees in the wild and even a quick bath in the cold sea, but the cherry on top was one sleeping spot. We found a fallen tree on a rocky beach and hung our hammocks all around it. Sunrise in the morning gave us the best golden hour a bikepacker can imagine.

Mexico

Weekend Snapshot

By Marie-Liesse & Julien

Mexico is a beautiful country. We followed the Trans-Mexico Norte from the Pacific coast into the Sierra Madre mountains with sub-zero temperatures, then pedaled through the arid altiplano and small villages. After a two-month break in Ciudad de Mexico, we can’t wait to keep going!

France

Weekend Snapshot

By Martin Depero

I’m on a weeklong ride from Grenoble to the French Riviera to visit my parents. My route goes through the Ardèche, where this photo was taken. I love this area; it’s a wonderful playground for bikepacking.
