Our buddy Lukasz and his partner Pola are about to kick off an epic adventure: riding their bikes across both Americas! But just three days before the grand start, he still found time to swing by Zielona Góra and spend one last wild night in Poland with us by the banks of the Bóbr River. The cheerful Poznań crew rolled in too, and together we had the perfect send-off: autumn vibes, camp coffee, a bunch of bridges, endless jokes, sandy stretches, and of course those classic hike-a-bike sections that somehow always bring the gang closer together.

Over the past few weeks, luminous aspens have lit the mountainsides like fire, and I have grabbed every opportunity to immerse myself in their beauty. A post-work escape with friends to a park above town, a camp in a meadow drenched in moonlight and wrapped in fall’s brilliance, alone felt enough. But then, as night fell, the pink pillars of aurora began to dance above the trees, and this mid-week microadventure turned into something unreal.
