As always, we’re rolling into Monday morning with a quick look back at the weekend to check in with a trio of readers. We travel to three continents for today’s Weekend Snapshot and follow bikepackers as they pedal along tracks and trails in the Middle East, the southwestern corner of Europe, and the United States’ Upper Midwest. United Arab Emirates

This past weekend, as a part of a longer tour through the Middle East, I jumped on the Camels, Dunes, and Wadis Loop. So far the route has had a bit of everything from singletrack to gravel to hike-a-bike to pavement!
Portugal

Some scenes from my first week in Portugal, where I’m escaping another winter. This week’s rides included a mix of stunning coastal paths, charming small towns, and a healthy serving of underbiking on some mountain bike trails.

I decided to take a deep winter bikepacking trip in Wisconsin on my fat bike, Bear. I went to the Underdown in Wisconsin and had an absolute blast! Would highly recommend winter bikepacking.
