Wheels Manufacturing just announced new aluminum chainrings in four sizes, two tooth profiles, and seven anodized colors. Made for modern gravel drivetrains, these new chainrings are compatible with both Shimano and SRAM chains. Find details below…
Colorado’s Wheels Manufacturing is expanding its drivetrain options with new gravel chainrings. Made of 7075 aluminum, they come in four different tooth counts and seven different anodized colors: black, teal, green, blue, purple, red, and orange. Available in 40T, 42T, 44T, and 46T, the new chainrings are available in SRAM and Shimano tooth profiles, though the interface is based around SRAM’s 8-bolt direct-mount design. Each ring features a 6.5mm inboard offset, which they say is consistent with modern gravel chainlines.
These new chainrings, like other Wheels Manufacturing drivetrain components, are made in the United States. Though they’re announcing them today, these won’t be available until July of this year. The chainrings retail for $115-$125, depending on the tooth count, and can be purchased directly from Wheels Manufacturing.
