Wilde x Cane Creek 1″ Threaded Headsets for Vintage MTB Projects

According to Wilde Bicycle Co. founder Jeff Frane, the idea for a high-end 1″ headset was born after noticing the lack of options that accommodate cable hangers and a spacer stack. Wilde partnered with Cane Creek to address this. The result is an exclusive version of Cane Creek’s 110 headset in a 1″ threaded configuration.

The Wilde x Cane Creek 110 ZN 1″ Threaded Headset is designed for 1″ English Threaded forks, is machined from 7075 series aluminum, spins on sealed cartridge ZN40 bearings, and weighs in at 91 grams. The branding is subtle, they come in silver or black, and each headset includes one keyed 5mm spacer and two matching non-keyed ones.

The headsets are available for pre-order now, with a scheduled delivery in October. The minimum order quantities are quite high, so as of today, only one run is planned. They cost $120 each and are available from WildeBikes.com.
