In case you missed it, Lachlan Morton tackled his own version of the Tour de France this summer, which gained a lot of attention from the media. Inspired by the inaugural 1903 edition, he rode every stage and every transfer unsupported, covering a distance of 5,510 kilometres (3,424 miles) with 65,500 meters (214,895 feet) of climbing in a remarkable 18 days. He also raised more than 521,000 Euros ($709,000) for World Bicycle Relief in the process.
In an effort to raise even more for World Bicycle Relief, Cannondale, EF Education-NIPPO, and Rapha are putting on a draw where one lucky winner will walk away with Lachlan’s personal team-issue SuperSix EVO bike. All money raised will go toward mobilizing children and communities in need across the world via World Bicycle Relief. The winner, and four others, will also receive an EF Education-NIPPO Pro Cycling 2021 jersey signed by Lachlan.
To enter, World Bicycle Relief has set up a specific donation page for the prize draw. Make a donation of £25 or more for your name to be entered. Alternatively, you can enter for free by sending a postcard or letter with your full name and email address to JS 12247 World Bicycle Relief NPN, PO Box 704, Pinner, HA5 9PF, United Kingdom. The prize draw will run through Monday, November 1st, at 23:59 GMT.
