New to the Minnesota manufacturer’s ever-expanding lineup of components are the Wolf Tooth Components bottom brackets. Available in multiple BSA and T47 internal sizes, these sealed bearing bottom brackets are sure to be consistent with the rest of their high-quality parts. Find details here…
Wolf Tooth Components is adding to their lineup of high-quality components with their new BSA and T47 bottom brackets. Featuring custom bushings that separate the bearing inner race and crank spindle to eliminate metal-on-metal contact, Wolf Tooth is confident in their “creak-free” bottom bracket design. The custom bushings also help enhance bearing longevity and provide maximum weatherproofing. The new bottom brackets also contain balls and races made from hardened chrome bearing steel. This means they have a higher surface hardness than stainless, which improves the durability of bearing races and supposedly reduces spinning resistance and excess noise.
Offered in multiple BSA and T47 internal sizes for maximum spindle compatibility, the Wolf Tooth Bottom Brackets come in 24, 29 (DUB), and 30mm sizes. Adjustable-width sleeves allow BSA models to fit 68 and 73mm shells, with additional options available for 83 and 100mm shells. T47 internal models will fit 85.5 to 92mm shells.
Installing the new Wolf Tooth bottom brackets couldn’t be easier, as they’re compatible with standard BB tools. For BSA bottom brackets, the 44-16 Wolf Tooth Bottom Bracket Tool can install cups for the 24mm spindle, and the 46-12 can be used for 29 and 30mm cups. T47 internal bottom brackets can use the 52-16 BB tool. And for those who already have the Wolf Tooth Pack Wrench, installation will be seamless.

The Wolf Tooth bottom brackets are currently offered in four colors: black, raw silver, orange, and ultraviolet purple. Made in Minnesota, they retail at $129.95 USD for BSA sizes and $139.95 USD for T47 internal sizes.
