A more aggressive alternative to the Riddler, the new WTB Raddler features increased knob height and more spacing between the tread. As WTB puts it, “With a name that speaks for itself, the Raddler combines the efficiency of a short-knob centerline with the get-rad traction of prominent outer knobs. Let’s call it a semi-slick, but one designed to increase confidence while riders push the limits of gravel.” Durability has also been improved on from the Riddler, with increased surface area of all centre and intermediate knobs.
The Raddler features a single-ply 60 tpi casing, WTB’s Dual DNA rubber compound, and is tubeless-ready. The tire is only available in a TCS Light / Fast Rolling casing with black or tan sidewalls, and weighs between 505g and 526g, depending on the model.
The WTB Raddler is available in 700 x 40mm and 700 x 44mm sizes. Pricing remains the same across the Raddler line, with a MSRP of $59.95 USD or 52.25€ in the European market. Excluding the the tanwall Raddler 40, both widths and sidewall color options of the Raddler are currently available in both North America and Europe.
