Thanks in advance for spreading the word!

Photographer Tristan Cardew just published an in-depth look at his first ultra-distance bikepacking race, the 2022 Atlas Mountain Race in Morocco. Watch the full hour-long video here…

After a cancelled 2021 event, this year’s Atlas Mountain Race in Morocco followed a slightly longer 1,167-kilometre route with 23,174 metres of climbing and three staffed checkpoints along the fixed track. New men’s and women’s records were set for 2022, with the fastest riders crushing the entire route in under four days. Among those taking on the challenging route was Photographer Tristan Cardew, who decided the Atlas Mountain Race would be a great foray into the world of ultra-distance racing. He put together a detailed look at his experience and all the challenges he faced along the way, which you can watch below.
