Debuted in 2019, Across Andes is an ultra-endurance cycling event that crosses Chile from the Andes Mountains to the Pacific Ocean, traversing some of the country’s most remote and challenging landscapes. Each edition follows a new route that blends endurance cycling, wild nature, and true adventure. The 2024 event featured over 950 kilometers of gravel roads, unpredictable weather, and the stunning yet demanding Queulat mountain pass, deep in the heart of Patagonia Verde.
“Patagonia Verde is an intimate story of human endurance, connection with nature, and the power of the international gravel community. Through raw testimonies and breathtaking visuals of Chilean Patagonia, the documentary reflects the true spirit of Across Andes: a transformative journey through unexplored terrain.” —Across Andes
The 2025 Across Andes “Volcano Edition” is scheduled to take place from November 23rd to 28th, 2025, starting in Pucón, Araucanía Region. The new route promises a unique journey through volcanic landscapes and Mapuche ancestral lands, deepening the cultural and physical challenge for riders.
