This year’s Escape LA race in California stood out to first-place singlespeeder Alex Kowalski in many ways. On a recent trip, Anton Wünscher and Fred Leth chased enduro-racing speed and bikepacking spirit, loading their trail bikes and threading 450 kilometers through France’s Vosges Mountains.
