All Terrain Bicycle Challenge (Ep.1) + Five ATB Setups

Last fall, a casting call went out for five challengers to participate in The All Terrain Bicycle Challenge, a “reality show” style event in which each contestant was challenged to build their vision of an all terrain bike with which to tackle the “world’s most challenging ATB route” in Vermont. The series, hosted by Ronnie “Ultraromance” Romance, debuted today. Watch the first episode below followed by a gallery and build details of each contestant’s ATB.

Each challenger was supplied with a Crust Bombora featuring a Shimano Groupset, White Industries Crankset, ENVE seatpost and stem, and ENVE bar tape. Then, the challengers could choose between wheel sizes, tire type, and cockpit. They supplied their own bags, saddle, and pedals. Read on to see how each rider customized their rigs:

Josie’s ATB

Josie picked an ENVE M5 Flat Bar, ENVE AG28 650b Wheels, and Ultradynamico Mars tires. Josie also had a few special adaptive modifications that are super rad, a grip shift dropper, and all controls on the right side of the bars, with a prosthetic attachment point on the left that’s designed for Motorcycles.

Landon’s ATB

Landon’s Bombora build got an ENVE Gravel Drop Bar, ENVE AG28 650b Wheels, and Ultradynamico Mars tires.

Adelo’s ATB

Adelo’s Bombora was decked out with an ENVE Gravel Drop Bar, ENVE AG28 650b Wheels, and Ultradynamico Rosé tires.

Lauren’s ATB

Lauren’s Bombora also got built with an ENVE Gravel Drop Bar and ENVE AG25 700c wheels, but Lauren picked Ultradynamico Rosé rubber to round things out.
