Jorn Tuijnman and several riding buddies set out on our Slovenia West Loop earlier this summer. Along the way, Jorn captured the country’s spectacular beauty and documented the good times they had out on the route. After a week of good times on mountain bikes in the Slovenian outdoors, the gnarly descents and heavy climbs of our Slovenia West Loop won over Jorn Tuijnman and his two travel companions. “We really very much enjoyed that trip. Slovenia is amazing… really good bureks and amazing landscapes. Thanks for sharing!” Jorn put together this fun little video after their trip to showcase all the waterfalls, food, and fun that they enjoyed along the way. About the Route
Slovenia—east of Italy’s Dolomites, south of Austria and sharing borders with Croatia and Hungary—has everything an intrepid cycle tourist could want. The Slovenia West Loop includes remote dirt roads through rolling hills, picturesque towns, steep climbs, and bits of single track to keep you grinning.
