If you missed it, this year’s GBDURO self-sufficiency mandate required participants to carry all of their food—and resulting waste—for the entire 1,200-mile journey that follows the GB Divide Route in the UK. First place finisher, Josh Ibbett, shot GoPro footage during his ride and with help from Ryan Le Garrec, put together an 18-minute video for an inside look at the event. Watch it below.

Josh Ibbet’s GBDuro Bike Check
Filmed before the event, here’s a quick run-through of Josh’s GBDuro 2020 race set up. Given that the GBDuro is a fully self-sufficient bikepacking race, the set up had to include enough food for the duration of the 1200-mile route.
