On the King’s Highway is a new short documentary that follows Axel Carion and Jonas Deichmann’s record-establishing 2020 ride of the Jordan Bike Trail, during which they completed the entire 730-kilometer route in an astounding five days. Watch the 16-minute film here…

Back in March of last year, we shared Axel Carion’s story of his record-setting trip on the Jordan Bike Trail with fellow ultra-cyclist Jonas Deichmann, during which the pair of riders pedaled the 730 kilometers from Umm Qais in the north to Aqaba in the south in just 120 hours. As a follow-up to their trip, they recently released a 16-minute documentary-style film that provides an intimate look at what the two riders experienced as they crossed Jordan, engaging with local people and tackling tough terrain along the way. Watch it below:
