Watch this really nicely done series here. Spoiler alert, our favorite is “Day 2” with past contributor Mary Taylor telling the story (no offense Amanda and Bussmann, yours were great too!)…
Federico Cabrera sets out on bikepacking trips through remote areas in South America carrying a small portable photography studio. His mission? To capture portraits of people and families who don’t have such a photo. And, as his project is named, “Their Only Portrait” becomes a priceless possession for many of the people he meets along the way.
The award winning Waiau-Toa Odyssey is all about big New Zealand whitewater and incredibly scenic South Island backcountry…
Search and State makes all of their cycling apparel in New York City’s Garment District. Their early focus was racewear, but adventurous off-the-grid cycling was always in their DNA. They’ve just introduced a jacket conceived specifically for expedition style bikepacking, designed with Joe Cruz as a consultant. Read on to see how he got involved and his eye-opening introduction to made-in-the-USA small batch technical wear.
In this video Jesse Carlsson unpacks his Curve GMX Overlander to show you what he brought along to set the fastest time on what some consider the most grueling ultra-endurance bikepacking race route in the world…
Jimmy and Pia realized the main thing that kept them in the saddle and out exploring the world was the intimate way in which they connected with people they met along the way. So they decided to start a film project about just that. Watch this beautifully shot and enchanting episode of ‘Remote Encounters’ in Austria and learn more about the series…
