The Pictish Trail (Video)

Accompanying the new Pictish Trail route we published this morning, “The Pictish Trail” is a video from Huw Oliver and Annie Le that provides an inside look at their 750-kilometer route scouting ride across the beautiful east of Scotland. Watch it in full here…

We’re excited to be able to share a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the new 750-kilometer Pictish Trail bikepacking route from Huw Oliver and Annie Le. The route starts in Scotland’s most northerly point and ends in its capital of Edinburgh, connecting the past and the present as it meanders through Scotland’s ancient Pictish kingdoms.

Presented by Salsa Cycles, The Pictish Trail is a video that follows the pair as they traverse a variety of landscapes and surfaces, weaving through glens, pedaling up mountains, and passing cliffs and beaches on gravel trails, roads, and singletrack. You can watch it below, then scroll down to find the full route guide linked at the bottom of this post.
