According to past participants, the main reasons to take part in the Veneto Trail is the well crafted route put together each year by race organizer Andrea Securo. It’s a mountain bike-focused loop that’s different each year, but usually involves a mix of doubletrack gravel roads, rocky traverses, and rooty singletrack with very little tarmac. And, it’s guaranteed to have a lot of climbing as it takes in the some of the best scenery around the Dolomites.
