Life in the Mid Pack is a new documentary from ultra-cyclist Josh Reid that focuses on his experience riding through the field at the 2025 Tour Divide. With appearances from JJJJustin, Lael Wilcox, and a number of other notable riders, the hour-plus-long film is much more than your average talk-to-the-camera Tour Divide vlog. With some incredible landscape shots, candid gas station moments, and much more, this is among Josh’s best work as a documentarian racing near the front of the pack.
With the film taking viewers through each section of the 2,700-mile route, the longer watch makes you appreciate just how much distance these riders traverse throughout their ride. Offering a slightly more in-depth view than something shot while someone aimed to set a new FKT, Josh’s film is a more relatable look at what one might experience if they were to take on this life-altering ride.
