Yes Chef: Bikepacking Australia with Lachlan Morton (Video)
“Yes Chef” is a new video from Paris-based photographer and videographer Ben Chadourne, featuring Lachlan Morton on his latest impromptu bikepacking trip. Instead of setting a new FKT or another incredible human feat, this video follows Lachlan and his friends on a homemade bikepacking loop in Australia. Watch the 43-minute video below…

Famous for his record-setting efforts, Lachlan Morton also enjoys a more relaxed bikepacking trip. Taking on a loop that starts and ends in his hometown of Port Macquarie, Australia, Yes Chef by Ben Chadourne—a videographer Lachlan Met when he finished the Alt Tour in 2021—follows Lachlan and company as they make their way through a near 500-mile journey. The trip is filled with all kinds of shenanigans as the group travels across varied terrain.
Throughout, viewers get a taste of how celebrated the Australian is back home. Visiting various hole-in-the-wall restaurants and bars, piecemeal conversations with line cooks and the like show just how loved Lachlan is, as his down-to-earth demeanor and authenticity come through with the locals. Of course, it isn’t all about him.
The cast of characters that joins him on the trip has the same vibe as any friendly bikepacking trip you or I might take. It’s a fun, well-edited video that brings a cool, unique look to bikepacking through New South Wales, Australia. For those curious, Ben has sent over the full loop so that others can check out the sights and scenes from the video:
