Even if you don’t speak French, we think it’s well worth checking out the accompanying film to this year’s Concours de Machines. Watch riders race to put their dismantled bikes together, judges ponder the nuts and bolts of each build, glory in some beautiful mountain scenery, and revel in a vision of innovation, performance, community, and artisanship…
We’ve covered in this year’s Concours de Machines in detail – you can see some of the posts below. This film, beautifully produced by CreaLens for the Association des Artisans du Cycle, really helps put it all in context.

But in the meantime, enjoy a bike ‘show’ that’s unlike anything else that we know of, one whose bikepacking theme has revealed all manner of innovative and out-of-the-box ideas for those who love to camp out with their bicycles.
