The new Malocchio Disc is a second version of Crust’s thin-tubed, all-road-oriented frameset. Featuring 38mm tire clearance, lugs, a carbon fork, and two special paint jobs, it’s a modern all-road bike built for paved paths and light dirt roads. Get to know the Crust Malocchio Disc here…

Designed around a 700c tire through its size range, the new Crust Malocchio Disc is a version two of their all-steel neoclassical road frameset. This time featuring disc brakes instead of calipers, the new Crust Malocchio Disc takes the same lugged design (and paint scheme), and applies it to a more modern silhouette. With the addition of a carbon fork, the new disc Malocchio Disc fits a 38mm tire and has an integrated crown race.

Per Matt Whitehead of Crust Bikes, “The Malocchio was dreamed up and designed with our friend Travers Martin. It is a classical delight, like listening to the slow smooth sounds of the 3 Tenors on a breezy moon lit summer night. Don’t let that smoothness fool you, the Malocchio can be an absolute rocket ship if you want it to be. It’s top of the line Columbus Spirit tube set offers the ride characteristics and reliability you should expect out of a modern steel road frame.”

The bike can be setup with a triple, double, or single-ring crank, takes flat mount front and rear (160 max), and has 12 x 100 and 12 x 142 front/rear spacing. The weight for a 55cm full frame and fork is 5 pounds and 10 ounches. The Crust Malocchio Disc comes in black with red accents or a cool Fruity Pebbles-style colorway with a custom head badge. The frame and fork retail for $1,750 USD and can be bought directly from Crust or their stockists.
