20K ULTRATRAIL 2022

The 20K ultratrail 2022 is back on, rad as ever.

20K is a bikepacking adventure race: an unsupported, single-stage, fixed-route ride across the Western Alps in Northern Italy. The start is on July 29th 2022 from Pinerolo (Turin, Italy), just at the feet of the Alps and ready to roll. This year’s route will be outright offroad, just for gravel and mountain bikes: gravel with big tyres are recommended. Three checkpoints will take you across the stunning Western Alps arch, along 1000 km distance and a challenging ascent of more than 20000mt.

The route features the most iconic passes and trails of this Alpine area. Your wheels will ride from the Ligurian Alps right above the sea, along the old rocky Salt way, through the stunning green Gardetta Plateau and its peaks, also known as Little Peru. You’ll cross the bald wind swept passes on Monti della Luna riding on ancient military roads, along the Assietta Road, one of the highest in Europe, surrounded by a breathtaking natural landscape all along the way.
