Bikepacking For Beginners is designed to provide an accessible format for the bike touring curious to find their way into the exciting world of adventure cycling/bike touring in a safe, on an almost entirely car-free route, fun, and welcoming environment.

Attendees will be expected to carry all their own gear, food, and water and be self-sufficient. You must be able to confidently cycle 40+kms or around 2-3 hours out to our campsite and back again in the morning. We’ll ride out to our camp spot, stay the night, then pedal home the next morning. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the gear. Just sign up for the trip. The next step is that we can help evaluate your set-up and help you acquire (purchase, rent, borrow) the pieces you might need. Once we arrive in camp, our guides will lead a discussion about all thing bikecamping covering a wide range of topics.

All BikeBike Tours trip leaders are certified in First Aid and CPR and have years of bike touring experience. A separate Orientation Class roughly 1-2 weeks prior which is also included which we will schedule separately. We will also provide you with a suggested gear list.

Also open to anyone who just wants to join us for an overnighter.
