GRUSK is an adventure-cycling ride through the Monongahela National Forest to the highest peak in West Virginia…Spruce Knob! The ride travels gravel and dirt roads through some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in the East.
In it’s 7th year, this 4-day event combines a bikepacking ride/race with a one-day gravel gran fondo to give every gravel adventurer a choice of 6 routes for the challenge they’re looking for.
The longer routes are the 220 Mile VENTI and the 260 Mile LUNGO and can be ridden as 2-4 day bikepacking trips, or sub-24 hour efforts for those looking to test their mettle against the mountains of West Virginia.
The routes are designed to bring the riders across all routes and categories back to the amazing mountaintop venue to enjoy the food, drinks, live music and everyone’s epic stories.
