La Baroudeuse is a self-supported weekend bikepacking event that explores France, the Maritime Alps, and Italy between Ligurie and Piémont.
La Baroudeuse is a self-supported bikepacking event that focuses on the adventure rather than the time it takes riders to complete it. There are two route options: The Baby Baroudeuse (130km) and The Baroudeuse (300 km), but both set riders up to explore France by the Parc National du Mercantour, the Maritime Alps and, Italy between Ligurie and Piémont.
The route alternates between pavement and off-road, 30% and 70% respectively, and although the event is not officially timed it is expected that all riders will finish within 48 hours.

You have the possibility to sleep the Friday night before the departure at La Turbie : it’s free for those who have a sleeping bag like a good Baroudeur, and there are showers available at the start and finish of the ride.
