The Portland United Bikepackers is a group of people who like to ride bikes on dirt, gravel, rock, or road, and take their camping gear with them. We have a listserv where we invite others to pedal, ask a question, or share a story. Camping trips are encouraged but single day adventures are appreciated too. We’re dirt cruisers, not racers; our pace is laid back. Our group is made up of multiple genders. All experience levels are welcome.
We’re having a meet & ride for new and existing members on Sunday, April 19 from 10am to noon. We’ll hang out a bit, eat snacks, and go on a mixed terrain ride in the greater Mt Tabor area.
Mia and Bruce will be your hosts and ride leaders. We’ll meet rain or shine near the basketball court at Clinton City Park, just west of SE Clinton Street and SE 58th Ave. If it rains, we’ll be under the eaves at Atkinson Elementary school.
