South Downs Way Bikepacking Weekend 2026

An epic 2-day bikepacking adventure. Starting in Winchester the route winds its way through the world-famous South Downs National Park. This challenging route incorporates some of the most spectacular aspects of the Park with its stunning scenery. Basecamp is situated approximately half-way – tucked away in scenic Sussex countryside. Making for an unforgettable weekend experience.

At basecamp you have the option of camping or luxing it in the bothy. Here riders are treated to a heart-warming welcome, campfire vibes, live folk music and wholesome meals from the legendary Wild Cycles field kitchen.

2 days of southern magic, stunning scenery, sweeping views and wild coastal paths. 75km + 90km finishing on the jaw-dropping cliffs at Beachy Head – a stone’s throw from Eastbourne.
