The Southern Tier Swelter Bike Race will be the first southern crossing of the US event, using a large portion of the the Adventure Cycling Association Southern Tier Route. The Route is 3,075 miles and will start in Orlando, Florida at Lake Cane and then go to St. Augustine, FL to jump on the Southern Tier Route and will finish at Point Mugu State Park, California

This bikepacking race will be held in conjunction with the Trans Am Triathlon which will follow the same route (A first ever event). There is a reason with the name Swelter – it will be very hot. Unlike the normal Southern Tier route, the athletes will divert north into Death Valley National Park vs. the typical route finishing in San Diego. This is a serious extreme heat endurance adventure. Dotwatching will be with Trackleaders.

We will provide the bike GPX file links to all athletes via email – early 2020.

All specific information is available in the athlete guide will be emailed to each interested athlete by submitting an inquiry at https://transamtri.com/southern-tier-swelter/
