Self-supported bikepacking adventure in the Taunus hills north of Frankfurt, taking in a mix of surfaces from paved lanes, gravel roads, cobblestone alleys, dirt trails and everything in between. The route is undulating throughout with countless steep hills and takes the riders on a journey into the history of the region.
The track runs mainly away from roads on quiet farm and forest lanes and a few trails. You’ll find shelter huts, hotels, campsites, fountains as well as resupply options along the route.
After this ride you’ll know the Taunus better than most locals.
