As part of Norco’s 2020 mountain bike release, the Bigfoot has seen a complete redesign which includes a larger main triangle, more mounts, and four different build options. Check out the details here…
Norco’s multi-purpose fat bike, the Bigfoot, has seen a complete redesign for 2020 taking what Norco describes as “Rewarding and character-building” to “Downright fun – Anywhere, anytime!” Besides a few geometry updates, added bells and whistles, and new component builds, the redesigned frame sees a much cleaner look that’s a visible improvement over the 2019 Bigfoot.
As for the geometry updates, the 2020 Bigfoot gets a steeper head tube angle (68.5º), a longer wheelbase, and a lower bottom bracket. The updates are claimed to provide a more powerful pedaling position and more aggressive handling in all conditions. There are four different build options available; the Bigfoot 1, Bigfoot 1 Suspension, Bigfoot 2, and Bigfoot 3, all of which are outlined below. We’re most interested in the new frame that now offers two bottle cages in the main triangle, a third set of bosses on the downtube, and on the Bigfoot 2 and 3, anything cage mounts on the fork. The main triangle also appears to be larger than that of the 2019 Bigfoot, offering great real estate for a frame bag for winter fatbiking. Norco also introduces internal cable routing on all models, rear rack mounts, and clearance for 26×5.0″ tires. Find a quick breakdown on the different build options available below…
