Switzerland-based Suplest has been in the performance cycling shoe game for 10 years now, but their trail shoes haven’t received an update in three years. That changed recently with their 2022 line of clipless Trail shoes. The range consists of three models: Trail Pro, Trail Performance, and Trail Sport. Find details below.
Suplest Trail Pro
The Trail Pro shoe is designed for aggressive all-mountain style riding, or for anyone who prefers some extra protection. They have an external BOA-secured lace cover, a lace-up internal closure, and sock-like collar for keeping out mud and other debris. They also come equipped with a RECCO reflector, which make you searchable to professional rescuers equipped with RECCO detectors.

Suplest Trail Performance
The Trail Performance shoe is an all-rounder that’s designed to be suitable for climbs, descents, hike-a-bikes, and is probably the most ideal for bikepacking. It features the same Suplest SUPtraction outsole, two-bolt cleat plate, a single BOA closure, and also comes equipped with a RECCO reflector.
The Suplest Trail Performance sells for €169 and comes in sizes 37 to 47, with no half sizes. Find details here.
Suplest Trail Sport
The Trail Sport offers a thoughtful blend of performance and everyday comfort. The have a simple lace-up closure, a large velcro strap to lock things in, and the same outsole as the Pro and Performance shoes. You won’t find RECCO in the Trail Sports shoes.
