In celebration of their 50th anniversary, Ritchey just released a limited edition Outback, complete with a stunning “half moon blue” paint scheme and special frame decals. Check it out here…
After a substantial update in 2020, the Ritchey Outback continues to receive lots of praise for being comfortable, surefooted, and smooth on gravel and beyond. I spent some time riding one when it was released and had many positive things to say about it in my review. It’s based around a steel frame and carbon fork and has clearance for up to 700 x 48mm or 650B x 2.0″ tires. It has rack mounts, fender mounts, triple pack mounts on the fork legs, and three bottle mounts on every size.
In celebration of Ritchey’s 50th anniversary they just released a limited edition Outback that shares all the same specs as the original but comes with a smooth light blue to deep blue fade paint job and some special frame decals that reference the company’s history and the influence Palo Alto, California, has had on Tom Ritchey.
The 50th anniversary Outback comes in five sizes and is sold as a frameset (frame + fork) for $1,699 USD. It’s available now from RitcheyLogic.com.
