The new Bedrock Bags Gravel Collection is a curated selection of new and original bags that the company designed to match up perfectly with modern gravel rigs and classic bicycles. Each item in the collection features a subtle desert-like color scheme, Bedrock’s classic “crossed needles” maker’s mark, and waxed canvas accents.
As of today, the collection includes two handlebar bags (one of which is brand new), a seat bag, and panniers. Each bag is handmade in their Durango-based workshop and constructed from durable, waterproof materials, although none of the bags are 100% waterproof. Here’s a breakdown of what’s available with descriptions of each.
Bedrock Bags Gravel Collection
Ridgway Handlebar Bag (NEW $60)
The Ridgway Handlebar Bag is a small burrito bag is designed specifically for day-ride adventures. It’s small enough not get in the way of cables and housing by nesting behind them and large enough to carry a few essentials. The bag offers single-zipper access with a small external stuff pocket on one end, and has dual handlebar straps and a headtube strap to secure it to the bike.
Entrada Handlebar Bag ($175)
This is a little different than the longstanding original Entrada in that it was made specifically for drop bars and Jones Bars. And like other bags in this collection, it was reimagined in the new color way and waxed canvas. Bedrock claims that the “rock-solid ride stability and easy-access pocket remain the same.”
Coconino Seat Bag ($200)
The Coconino Seat Bag is the company’s original seat pack designed for use with rigid seatposts. The Coconino was built around the RailWing, an industry-first solution that eliminates side-to-side sway and keeps the bag stable and secure. This version gets matching X-pac fabrics and a finish to fit neatly within the Gravel Collection.
Hermosa UL Panniers ($300/pair)
The Hermosa Panniers were one of the first mini-panniers on the market. These ultralight versions have a deceptively simple, rattle-free attachment system, and a sharp finish featuring waxed canvas trim and a matching X-pac roll-top upper.
