Enduro racer Eric Olsen will soon be traveling to Scotland to race in the Enduro World Series, but there’s a twist! He’ll be bikepacking between stages with his friend Dan Perl on a pair of Forbidden shredpacking rigs and raising money for World Bicycle Relief along the way. Check out their rigs here…
Enduro racer and Jank Components owner Eric Olsen is heading to Scotland on May 30th to race the Enduro World Series. From there, alongside his friend Dan Perl, he’ll race three rounds of the series in Scotland, Slovenia, and Italy. The pair will be bikepacking between the events on fully loaded Forbidden high-pivot enduro bikes, complete with custom bags from Washington-based Loam Equipment.
“I believe bicycles are not just a means of recreation,” Eric explains, “but also a life-changing form of transportation, so I am fundraising for World Bicycle Relief along the way. Jank Components will be donating 50% of profit in the month of June, or you can donate directly.”
The two have plans to produce video updates along the way, so make sure to keep an eye on Eric’s Instagram (@jankyeric) and the Jank Components blog. You can donate directly to Eric’s fundraiser here.
