The Camp and Go Slow Fall release serves as a refresher for the brand, introducing a range of products and collaborations to their site. From a custom handmade vest to a new set of Rockgeist hip packs, the Camp and Go Slow Fall Release is brimming with interesting new goodies.
Ventile Vest
In collaboration with Cima Coppi in Spain, Camp and Go Slow has made a run of their Ventile Vests with a few Rattler pattern touches. These feature Cima’s versatile ‘Fireside Fit”, two-way zippers, a drop tail hem, and front/back yokes trimmed with Rattler tape. Per Casey of Camp and Go Slow, “the real magic is in the fabric: Ventile Cotton is a breathable, windproof, and water-repellent material that makes these vests perfect for shoulder season riding.” The Ventile Vests will be available in S–XXL in Eastern Rattler and Western Rattler colors, and will retail for $200 USD. Check out this cool video showing the handmade process of the vests.
Camp and Go Slow Fall Release Hats, Shirts, and Bits
Camp and Go Slow is also expanding their Brake For Snakes collection to include some heavyweight Comfort Color tees in both black and spruce. They’re discharge printed, making them a bit more amenable to riding. There will also be a limited run of Brake For Snake enamel mugs and a packable trucker hat that retails for $50 USD. The tees are $30, Brake for Snakes patches are $6, the sticker pack is $7, and the mugs are $22.
The brand is also releasing a cycling-oriented cap that simply features the iconic “Campandgoslow” logo on the front. Made by Velo Spica in Japan, these five-panel cycling cap are sewn from lightweight cotton/nylon ripstop and feature a ‘Pig Snout’ lash tab in the back and a shock cord and toggle adjustment for $50 USD. One-size-fits-most and maxes out around a 24.5″ head (7 7/8 hat size). Camp and Go Slow has also collaborated with Forager Cycles to create some brown, olive, orange, and brass cable cherries for $36 USD per set.
Camp and Go Slow Fall Release Bags
Finally, this release features two collaborations with bag makers: Outer Shell and Rockgeist. The expanded collection with Outer Shell now includes the Drawcord Handlebar Bag and Stem Caddy in four color/trim options, matching Mini Saddlebags, and Camp and Go Slow branded Voilé straps. All Outer Shell bags are made in San Francisco, CA, and will cost $130 USD for the bar bag, $60 for the stem caddy, and $45 for the mini saddle bag.
The collaboration with Rockgeist features the Dumpling Hip Pack, originally designed by Porcelain Rocket, and now made in Asheville, North Carolina. These packs are waterproof, easy to access while riding, and “so comfy and stable you might have to look down to make sure it’s still on.” The hip packs will be available in two sizes and four color options, with the smaller option priced at $140 USD and the larger size at $175 USD.
All items in the Camp and Go Slow Fall release will be available for sale on Friday, 9/26 at 4pm PST. Visit CampAndGoSlow.com to check out the collection.
