Minnesota-based Cedaero Bags and Esker Cycles have teamed up to offer custom bolt-on frame bags for their versatile steel hardtail, the Hayduke. Learn more about their new collaboration here…
The Hayduke is Esker Cycles’ versatile and longstanding Chromoly steel mountain bike, with clearance for both 27.5 x 3.0″ and 29 x 2.3″ tires, swing-arm swappable dropouts that allow for multiple drivetrain setups. In short, it’s Esker’s vision of the perfect hardtail. The Hayduke has all the fixings for a great bikepacking bike, and its generously sized main triangle and wealth of mounting points are begging for a frame bag. To make that a little easier, Esker has just teamed up with Minnesota-based bag maker Cedaero on some Hayduke-specific frame bags that can now be purchased directly through Esker while you’re picking up a complete bike or frame.
The custom frame bags are 100% bolt-on and designed specifically for the Esker Hayduke. The bags are offered in either a gray Cordura or brown waxed canvas, and they fit frame sizes XS to XL. The bags have a single drive-side zippered opening, Cedaero and Esker patches, and utilize every last little bit of space inside the main triangle to maximize carrying capacity. The Cordura bags cost $200 USD and the waxed canvas versions are $230 USD.
