According to Chrome, their new Kursk TR Sneakers are their take on a shoe that can “do everything and go everywhere.” They borrowed the base design from their original bike commuter shoe and added some technical details that make them better for riding off-road and hiking. While I don’t have much experience with their shoes, I’m big fans of their apparel and shoulder bags, and I expect good things.

The Chrome Kursk TR outsole features Panaracer’s rubber compound and an all-terrain tread pattern. It doesn’t look quite as aggressive as some of the shoes we’re used to, but it’s great to see Chrome getting into the off-road market. They also added a nylon shank midsole designed to increase pedaling efficiency. The upper gets a roomy toe box and a breathable suede and mesh exterior.
